Below is a link to PairNIC, the domain registrar I prefer - if your .com name is taken, not at all unusual these days, you will be given other domain options (biz, us, etc.) Or spend some time with variations on your preferred name adding "art", "artist" etc. If the name is available, a new page will tell you so, with a link to register it with pairNIC, an excellent company to register domains with. You may of course register (and host for that matter) anywhere you wish if you have another preference. pairNIC charges $19 per year or as low as $13 per year for five years. Be wary of anything much cheaper, your domain name is too important.
